it is hot here.

and it's supposed to be even hotter tomorrow.

especially when he sleeps.

he's all worn out.

we went to one of my bestest friend's baby shower this morning.

i am so lucky to have kept in touch with such great friends that i've met over the years.

and now we're back at home trying to escape the heat.

my beautiful boy is still healing from his surgery.

he does sound a lot better today than yesterday, so i'm hopeful it will continue to improve as the swelling keeps going down.

i was starting to get worried that nothing had changed.

i think i'll go have myself a popsicle now.
