sweet little Mabel.

i had the best day today.

first, i got to take aubrey and connor into Cerro Gordo, the town i went to school in, and aubrey just loved it.

and i loved showing her everything and telling her stories.

we had so much fun.

but tonight was special.

i got to go see sweet little Mabel.

the little girl i've talked about before, this sweet little girl who reminds me so much of connor.

i started following her facebook page, "Mabel's Able", awhile ago, not knowing that her mom grew up just 30 minutes from where i grew up.

we became quick friends online and through text.

but today, today i got to meet them both. (and her other sweet kids)

it was amazing!

Sweet little Mabel is so beautiful.

i got to finally hold her in my arms.

she and connor have so many similarities, especially in their movements.

 i have never met or seen someone who reminds me more of connor than little Mabel.

she is almost 3 and reminds me so much of connor when he was that age.

 they became best friends right away:)

they were quite the pair.

a perfect match for friendship.

i loved talking to her mom so much.

i think we get each other.

perfectly.

at the end of our visit, something so cute and amazing happened.

connor and mabel both reached out at the same time and grabbed each other's hand.

(this is a rare occurrence and a difficult feat for both of them, usually)

it was so perfectly sweet and beautiful.

this little girl stole my heart awhile ago.

it meant so much to me to get to finally meet her in person tonight.

best day i've had in a long time.
