today is significant because it's the last day of 1st grade for my little girl.

this was Aubrey on her 1st day of 1st grade.
and this is her on her last.
she's grown so much!!
too fast.
(also, i just noticed she was wearing the same skirt--i guess she hasn't grown that much)
i love my little girl so much.
she did a great job in school this year.
excellent grades.
mostly good behavior.
(she was having a little bit of trouble being 'too interested in friends during class' the last couple months of the year)
but i'm still so proud of her.
she's a good kid.

my sweet boy is struggling a bit today.
he's been really agitated and uncomfortable.
but i guess that is to be expected after surgery.
he was rolling and flipping all morning and really fighting me while i was holding him.
and then i remembered we had his wheelchair we brought home from school....
i put him in and he calmed down enough to watch some cartoons for a little bit.
yay wheelchair!!
hopefully his throat will continue to heal quickly and his breathing will improve.
haven't noticed much of a difference yet.
but,
he's still super cute.
exceptionally so.
