my tiny superhero!

a few weeks ago i got a message on facebook from a wonderful lady.  she started a blog called TinySuperheroes.  (http://tinysuperheroes.blogspot.com)   it's an amazing thing that she does!  in her message to me she said, "I have been blessed with the opportunity to empower TinySuperheroes like Connor! TinySuperheroes is a small organization that seeks to empower our little ones — one cape at a time. We donate TinySuperhero capes to extraordinary TinySuperheroes who exemplify strength and determination as they overcome great adversity."

awesome, right??  i was so surprised and so honored that she chose my beautiful boy to be a recipient of such a special cape.  and i told her it's so perfect for him because actually his papa has already labeled him 'Superboy'.  it's a perfect fit!  

you should definitely check out her blog, it is so amazing to see all the truly incredible tiny superheroes that are featured.  she will feature connor too, and i will be sure to share the link when she does....i'm so excited!  they say that when these children put on their capes they really have super powers.   i feel that the capes just enhance the powers that are already there.  i know for a fact that connor has special powers, i witness them everyday. 

last week, connor's cape arrived in the mail...

they made it in his favorite color---blue.  it's so soft and i love the color combination :)

the love she has for her brother is amazing.  he truly is a superhero in her eyes, and she is his hero, too.

i cannot tell you enough how much i love my beautiful boy.  i know he has super powers.  he has so much beauty and light within himself that just shines so brightly. 

 i know he's a super hero.  he is my hero.  every day he saves me.  every day he rescues me and teaches me something new. 

he has transformed me into something more than i ever thought i could be.  he has helped me strive to be better in every aspect of my life. 

 i look up to my tiny superhero.  my superboy.

i am strengthened because of him.

i am so thankful for such wonderful people that go out of their way to make little children like my son feel special.  what an amazing thing for a complete stranger to do for my sweet boy.  i can't wait to read about connor on the TinySuperheroes blog.  

i am so in love with my Superboy.

he truly is heroic.
