today has been a good day.  this morning aubrey, connor and i went to see The Croods with the Hope Kids.  

i am so grateful for the HopeKids: HopeKids, Restoring Hope, Transforming Lives organization.  it is run by a man and his wife, with the sole purpose of providing hope and giving children with life-threatening diseases something to look forward to.  they do so many neat events every month just to give these kids something good to look forward to.  our favorite thing has been to go to the movies.  i discovered how much connor loves to watch the big screen the very first time we went.  he loves watching the lights and bright colors and movements.  today was no exception. he stayed awake the whole time today, sitting in my lap just squirming away, but intently watching that big screen.

and aubrey is equally excited to go everytime, too.  it's such a relief to have a whole theater full of people who in some way get you.  it's still a bit of a surprise when i hear a suction machine go on and realize it's not mine this time :)

and now this afternoon i'm excited to be able to watch General Conference, all snuggled up with my sweet boy in my lap.  

it just feels right.
