today was aubrey's birthday party.
i told her she could just have a small party this year, with family and our neighbors.
she wanted a Monkey Party.
so i gave her a monkey party...
every party needs an inflatable monkey.

the monkey cake....in it's mid-stage of creation.
it was a banana pudding poke cake.
and it was quite the challenge to get out of the pan.
i may or may not have yelled at the poor monkey.

i hope aubrey liked it.
