this is going to be a picture post.   i've been looking through pictures on my computer and thought i'd share some and give a little description as to what they're about......

this one was taken at my sister's wedding.  this was before we really knew anything was wrong, he was around 3 and a half months old.  he was still drinking out of a bottle at this time...

these next ones are from when he had the NG tube, right after his first hospital visit and swallow study.....(we despised that nose tube....the tape on his face made his skin so red and irritated to where it would bleed :(

this next one was at my dad's house in Illinois, after our trip to the Mayo Clinic.  you can still see the bruise on his little hand from his I.V. he had to have.  i absolutely LOVE this photo.  he was still bringing his hands to his face on his own, on purpose.  this little boy makes my heart just melt. <3 <3

here are a couple taken after the dreadful NG tube is gone and replaced with a G tube surgically placed in his stomach......see ya later nose hose!!

 aubrey loves this picture......he's so cute, but so thin here.  this was when he was throwing up constantly and couldn't gain weight.  he was so fragile.

papa and his superboy.  handsome looking twins :)  those are my two favorite boys in the whole wide world right there.

this one was right after he had his saliva gland removal surgery.   that was a rough night for mommy at the hospital.....it's hard
 seeing my sweet boy like that.












but luckily, the surgery really helped him and he was home soon to recover under the tender care of his Sissy.  he still has those scars underneath his chin..... his battle wounds.





here are just a few of connor and aubrey, the best big sister ever!  she is a special child, my little aubrey girl......she has such a strong, special love for her brother.  she calls him 'her Connie'.   she loves her little brother and has never been jealous of him or the time that he takes from me.  she's always giving him kisses and drawing him little notes and pictures.  i love how she loves him.

Halloween!  a football star and his cheerleader.  She's his number one cheerleader in real life too.  raise your hand if you love Sissy!!

this one was taken on Valentines day 2011.  i don't know why but i really love this picture.  i love these two kids with all my heart.  and then some.  they are my everything, and i am so lucky i get to be their mom.
